The Yamaha MG24/14FX is a professional analog mixing console built for live sound reinforcement and fixed installations that need generous input capacity and flexible routing. It combines 16 mono microphone/line channels and 4 stereo line channels into a 24-input frame, enough for full-band front-of-house, choir and drum miking, or multi-source conference and event work. Each mono channel provides a 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange, an 80 Hz high-pass filter and an insert point, while all input channels benefit from Yamaha's low-noise preamplification and +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Two internal SPX digital effect processors supply 16 programs apiece, covering reverb, delay, pitch change, chorus, phasing, voice doubling and distortion, with editable parameters and tap-tempo delay on processor B. Four group buses and six auxiliary sends handle monitor and effects routing, and outputs include balanced XLR stereo and mono buses, group outs, RCA record outs and a phones feed. A variable low-pass filter on the mono output simplifies subwoofer integration, and a built-in talkback system supports efficient show management.
