The Martin Audio Blackline F215 is a two-way passive trapezoidal loudspeaker engineered to deliver very high sound pressure levels from a fully passive enclosure. Dual 15-inch (380mm) drivers with 3-inch (75mm) voice coils provide extended low-frequency performance, while above 250Hz only the upper bass-mid driver continues up to the 1.3kHz crossover point, keeping midrange clarity and articulation intact at extreme output levels. High frequencies are handled by a 1.4-inch (35mm) exit titanium diaphragm compression driver loaded on a user-rotatable 80 x 50 degree constant directivity horn. With 800W AES power handling, 101dB sensitivity and 128dB continuous / 134dB peak maximum SPL, the F215 is well suited to nightclub installations, live sound reinforcement, sidefill and drum monitoring. The 165-litre multi-laminate birch ply enclosure rides on four rear-mounted castors for easy transport, and twelve M10 flying inserts support permanent rigging. An optional electronic controller adds crossover and limiter protection when the F215 is combined with a subwoofer for larger systems in venues and events across Kenya.
